A pre-Christmas evening – contemplative & upbeat!
Experience a very special Christmas concert in the parish church of St. Jakobus in Bad Endorf with the children’s and musical choir of the Immling Academy, the Immling Festival Choir and the Immling Festival Chamber Orchestra musica viva under the direction of Cornelia von Kerssenbrock and the Ukrainian Children’s and Adult Choir under the direction of Alisa Szuper. All of them and the evening’s soloists, Daniela Beer, Giorgi Kobulashvili and Natalia Byendos, will take you on a pre-Christmas journey around the world. From Bach to spirituals – that’s the motto of the evening: listen to excerpts from the oratorio The Messiah by George Frideric Handel, excerpts from the Christmas Oratorio by Johann Sebastian Bach, Christmas carols from all over the world and touching spirituals.
A musical experience for young and old, which sets the mood for the time of charity and reflection and helps people who are particularly in need right now.
