The Immling Academy, with its own choir and orchestra, is open to all young people and young adults between the ages of twelve and 29 who are enthusiastic about music and theater. With their own musical, the young artists create a professional work every year, which is performed as part of the Immling Festival and has become an integral part of the festival program.

Many of the performers are former members of the Children’s Festival Choir and in this way remain part of Immlingen’s cultural life – some of them not infrequently later switch to the opera choir. But also “newcomers” are welcome. For several years, there has also been close cooperation with the dance ensemble of the Dance Academy Pro People in Rosenheim, which regularly contributes fast-paced choreography to the musicals.
